Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009.
I am Homo Adorans (worshipping man).
I align myself most closely with the Southern Baptist Convention's Baptist Faith and Message. But my ultimate creed and life focus is found in Matthew 22:34-40:
"But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, ‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?’ Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
This is clearly augmented by what Jesus said to his disciples in John 13:34-35:
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
Therefore, my personal mission statement and driving force is to love The Creator and love others. There is no greater purpose.
